The green laser is great for illumination. Almost 90% of decay begins in the pits and groves of the biting surfaces of the teeth. The non-invasive laser lite which is scanned over the tooth’s surface is able to illuminate potential problems. The red laser is used for laser acupuncture and to reduce the discomfort of canker and cold sores. It is also useful for treating inflamed gum tissue, and reducing the amount of bacteria within the periodontal pocket.

The lasers utilize a series of patented Dental Tips, designed by doctors, to limit visual exposure from laser scattered light radiation. To limit scattered laser light when using the Dental Tips, slip a 2.75 mm Sanitary Tip over the Dental Tip until it fits snugly at the base. All Laser Lift Tips are designed to be disposable, however, they can be sanitized with alcohol or other acceptable sanitizing agent. No additional protective glasses are needed by physicians, staff, or patients in using these products with proper procedure. Detailed instructions are included. The lasers are stored in a padded travel case and need to be in checked baggage in air travel.  These lasers meet USA – FDA Laser Safety Regulations, but treatment is considered investigational.

There are 230 positive studies done by 81 universities from 37 different countries showing from 80 to 95% success using LLLT on over 24 different dental procedures.
